Luca - listen to me. You want to win the constructors - yes?, you want to win the drivers - yes?, you want to return to the Schumacher glory days - yes? Right, forget about Alonso and keep Massa. If Raikonen wants to go rallying rather than F1 then let him. Put Fisi in the car. With a prima-donna, Ferrari won't progress beyond where they are. With drivers who can work toghether as a team they will. Just my thoughts...

I wonder if he reads crash.net?

Andrew I keep telling you mate...

Alonso/Ferrari is a done deal. Ferrari dont wait last minute for this sort of thing, I reckon it was tied up months ago!
The Question is or SHOULD be where is Raikkonen going to be next year?

I dont think Ferrari would regret signing Alonso, he is the only driver on the grid that performs day in day out. Until proved otherwise he is the class of the field.

I reckon Kimi will leave F1, he is a bit of a Hakkinen in that he is potent when everything goes his way and lacklustre the rest of the time. And lets face it, Massa has made him look silly. Id go rallying if i was him.

Sure, Ferrari picks the drivers, not the sponsors ... But who said Ferrari didn't want him in the first place? :)

I'm sure they are either waiting for the end of the race to make the announcement (think Shumi 2006) or Kimi is having second thoughts of leaving after all. Its just a matter of time in the end. Worst case scenario: Alonso in red from 2011 onwards

I wonder what Shumi thinks of him in Ferrari though

Alonso and Ferrari is a done deal. Which spanish company are willing sponsor a team that didnt have a spainard? In motogp repsol, movistar (quit gresini, once gibernau was out), grupo francisco hernando and so on... Santander never had any interest in F1 until Alonso success and is it coincidence that they happend to sponsor mclaren the year alonso about to move there?

I think not.

Looks like a good bet that Santander went to red for Alonso I admit. But maybe they are waiting for a announcement to see the level of FA's involvement. There must be more besides Piquets word.

Kimi would be NUTS to leave F1, to play around in the dirt...If Massa returns, and does not do SUPER well next year, I predict 2011 drivers
