Renault F1 confirms that Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds have left the team, and reveals it will 'not dispute the recent allegations made by the FIA concerning the 2008 Singapore GP'.

So basically they have admitted fixing the race

I'll give them props for fronting up and coming out and saying it rather than swearing black and blue they didnt, and also glad briatore is gone

I hope that by distancing themselves from FB and PS, Renault (and all at Enstone) won't suffer any punishment that the FIA will almost certainly bring to the team.

I'm not surprised that Flavio has gone, but Pat Symonds? Until this week I had the highest respect for the man.
