No financial penalty. Makes McLaren's $100 million look even more ridiculous

Max gets his revenge on Flav...and then some and Renault get off pretty much scot free.

Oh the joys of F1.

Expect their pitstops to take longer, as they double-check all the wheel nuts from now on.

No direct fine, just an undefined 'bung' to Max legacy fund.

Wow, they got off very easy. Deals have ben done to kep Renault in the sport. Whilst I understand this for the sake of the Renault F1 and the sport in general, whole thing just an unpleasant, smelly business - yuk!

F1 is desparate to keep hold of likes of Renault. I guess there has been a bit of intervention from Big Bernie. Who is trying to keep F1 together and with BMW, Honda and what could have been Renault leaving, F1 could have been left seriously weak.

Looks a bit unfair compared to Mclarengate.

ok, we now have a verdict of sorts. the event did happen, but it is a pity that the full facts have not been disclosed. maybe we will hear further. those who are managed by briatore cannot have their superlicence renewed. it is right that he should be banned, as is symmonds. it is a pity that piquet was immune from any action, but he has wrecked his career anyway by his complicity. fia are obviosly afraid to ban renault, unless a "similar even is committed"!!! do they expect another planned crash from renault???? also love to know the significant sum paid by renault.
