Cry me a river NP. It stil stands that regardless of this scandal you are not a F1 calibur driver and most likely never will be. We have enough people who can fill the back marker role.

I really hope you never step foot in F1 again.

The 'I was only obeying orders' excuss has been used before, it was a cop out then and it is now. If he still had a Renault drive his mouth would still be shut.

Make no mistake he's a nasty piece of work, he gave zero thought to how this could have affected the five or six hundred staff at Renault F1. Maybe he did and thought that destroying their futures was a price worth paying to get even with Flav? NICE GUY!

I generally agree with the sentiments above.

However, as it stands now, the Renault people's jobs are no more at risk than they were before all this. In fact I doubt with how it all went down and how Renault got off they want to exit the sport now on such a low. So, in some ways, no harm no foul.

And, so far Grosjean ain't doing any better in that 2nd Renault and he was going to place 1st or 2nd in the GP2 championship, so how good that car really is, is still a mistery.

Still, I think that if he really wants to pursue a racing carreer hereafter, I think he should prove himself worthy in GP2 in a different team and not try to get another freeride to a seat in F1 with senior's money.

Max probably promised NP a ride in F1 for his signature. Remember Williams still owes Max favors.

He could also end up at Manor or one of Max's other chosen teams, don't forget the FIA only awarded entries to teams that signed up for the FIA/Coswoth package.

It's good that Nelson dosn't expect forgiveness, It means he wont be disapointed.

I would happily buy NP a beer or five for helping get rid of Flabbio. :)

I don't think he had any plans of remaining in F1 when he went public.

My prediction: He'll earn a few more millions (and probably a few more successes) in a series such as A1GP, DTM or a US series.

No great loss for F1, where undoubtedly his name carried him further than his talent deserved.

I do feel sorry for him, albeit offering no forgiveness.

Gone, and shortly to be forgotten.
