Briatore really did hold all the aces didn't he? Multi-million dollars in assets, half a dozen top drivers' contracts, head of a mid-to-top F1 team.

And then he let the whole deck of cards collapse around him.

in fact, it would be a quite understandable joke, and probably would be said by ANY team manager to a driver who had caused a situation where their team leader was in a position to benefit greatly

If you want to read REAL rot go to pitpass dot com and read the article on Mosley's leadership. It reeks of the most smelly and disgusting leadership EVER. And the only reason he does not go after Ferrari is that Todt would lose out. His hand picked sucessor. Bernie is not safe either as he wanted Max to step down after spankgate. Mosley is not done.

Just the man for the job. Unemployed and full of sh.ite. Talks like a bumbling fool and knows nothing about F1.
