He's taking a mature, sanguine approach. Much like the "Professor", Alain Prost, would have assessed the position. However Button approaches the remaining races the "knockers" will find fault, just as they have found "excuses" for his six wins so far this season.

To me it just seems Jenson has lost a bit of his luster. He hasn't been sounding too confident lately. I'm sure he's aware that if he blows it that it would be one of the biggest choke jobs in recent memory.

Protecting a lead is harder than chasing it down particularly in racing. When you go on the defensive it can do "things". Barrichelo is primed for the final races its gonna go down to the wire if rubinho's form is anything to go by.
