Sorry, but every comment in this topic so far is pathetic. Alonso owes a huge amount to Briatore and so does Renault (and I'm not talking about Singapore '08).

In my opinion it shows moral courage and honour on the part of Alonso to publicly recognise his debt to Briatore in front of the world's press, knowing full well the kind of reaction it would get.

Webber has also paid tribute to Briatore's as a manager I believe.

OK, that's it. Carry on with the snide comments losers...

At least he didn't need cheating to win a championship at the last corner. and he never needed to lie to stewards to get another innocent competitor punished and then repeat the lie 4 days later!

Alonso is the youngest double world champion in history (and that was when Schumi was still around). Today it was clearly shown that a driver cannot afford any mistakes - Rosberg and Vettel ruined their own chances. Briatore has probably done more good than bad over the time span he spent in Formula 1. Alonso may dedicate his race to anybody - I believe free speech is still a democratic right. Prince of Darkness is correct, Webber stated that he was very happy with the way his career was managed for 13 years by Briatore and that he will not replace him but rather do the management himself.

A super win for Ham...Alonso you should be thinking about getting out Dodge before sun up! The Singapore officials may not be so friendly after the celebrations are over, and they may be seeking some more answers about your last visited to the podium in 2008..YO! Alonso Dude, they still practice caning in Singapore. You don't have Flavio's yacht to make a getaway at sea, no matter Greyhound I believe is still running :D

Enough,

JOSE
