I'm sure Schumy has somesay in choosing Alonso to replace Kimi. He experienced driving against Alonso in his last season in Ferrari and also against Kimi. Just hope the team can come up with a better car than the F60 and ensure that we regain the championship.

No they did not pick the right line-up. They should stick with Fisi. I am sure once he gets testing he'll be upto speed in the car. Either that or they should have put up more of a fight for Raikonen.

Alonso and Massa will be a mighty pairing for Ferrari - Both men are quick and will get the job done.

I'll look forward to seeing some great battles between them, but also with Hamilton and hopefully Raikkonen in the Mclaren's. All four are great drivers and F1 would be poorer without them.

Crash.net !!!!! always stirring the SH!!! and telling half truths. FA was upset at McLaren because the team polarised around Hamilton when they found he was good on Alonso's set up. Then Hamilton tried to show he was better than the "team" in Hungary and screwed his "team mate". Then had a downhill ride after that because he got no more information from Alonso. Alonso was pissed off because the Team screwd up on not allowing him to get another World Championship and gave it away. Tell the Truth Crash.net

Did they pick the right driver. Here is a quote from Luca. Alonso, for his part, understands he now has not just the hopes of a team but of a whole nation resting on his diminutive shoulders. I guess the walking on water is next.

No, I do not think so. I think Raikkonen has been in very good form recently, showing old flashes of brilliance, Alonso's recent form though has not been nearly as good Raikkonen's. When Renault was on top, he was doing well, same with Mclaren, but things do not go quite as well when the car is at it's best. Take Sebastien Vettel for instance, he was in a Torro Rosso and drove well at times, in fact very well. I think Alonso was more right place right time. When Schumacher was at his very best, Raikkonen was up with him, he lost a championship to him by 3 points! Raikkonen wasn't right place right time, he was up there all the time. He definitely deserved the world title in07,inohdearruno...
