Timo Glock has delivered Toyota its best finish in F1 this season, and yet hes dumped due to the nationalistic Toyota Coporations insistance on having a Japanese driver, no matter how bad he is. Toyota are the same as Honda, huge budgets, no results over successive years, despite having had good drivers, Glock, Trulli, Button for honda etc

Kimi in a Toyota - I'll have to cancel that order for a new C-Class and place one for a Corolla instead :p

Take it, Kimi, or go rallying. At McLaren you will develop the car for LH.

Why Glock's giving way? Truli should be the one to go. And what's this about wanting to employ Kimi? Isn't Toyota considering leaving F1?

Well I can't see this happening!!!

Glock has done a really good job anyway, maybe if the car was more consistent then the drivers might have some more consistent results!!!

Err! Kimi was quoted yesterday as saying that he won't be staying in F1 unless he's in a car capable of winning the championship. Ha Ha Ha. Toyota better be thinking about giving the team to Ross Brawn if they're expecting that kind of turnaround. And Kubica deserves a good drive, he's a potential WC.

Well they have quite a job ahead of them if they think they can convince someone to drive a Toyota over a McLaren.

stumacher. what is there to say that toyota would NOT have a winning car next year. last year, if anyone had said that honda would be winning this year, there would have been roars of derision. and look what their design has done this year. a top rate driver in their car, could work miracles!

It's probably down to engines. Williams want out of their Toyota engine deal, and the Honda hasn't got a Honda engine anymore. If Toyota were willing to put a Merc engine in the back... but then that would rather defeat the object.
