Never mind Briatore, Alonso has got away again, scot free, for gross cheating. There was no attempt whatsoever to investigate his wafer thin claims of innocence by the FIA, he is clearly guilty for the second time too.

Webber is a supporter of Briatore.

Now I'm not a great fan of Webber but he appears to be a nice all round guy, what does he see in Briatore that we dont?

He has defended him to the hilt when it looks like all have forsaken poor ol Briatore. Could it be the old oaf isnt the Villain the Media would have us believe?

Mark - I would say that Briatore has had pleanty of chances to prove that he is not the bullying wannbe meglomaniac. His underhand ways go back to 94 when there were illeagal bits on Schumacher's car and other irregularities. I would say that Briatore has had enough chances and is hopefully gone from F1 for good. Sadly, his friendship with the powers that be may well come into play and he will have his punishment reduced, or mabye I am just being cynical.
