That is the best news I have heard today...

Kimi, back at the team capable of respecting his talent, instead of pleasing advertisers or media.

Sorry to say, but Ferrari could never 'use' Kimi ... aregueable the best driver on the track.

Go Kimi!

Cheers!

Just 2 days ago this very man spouted nonsense along the lines of "We are being very supportive of Heikki"
Now this?
Not a day goes past and Mclaren seems to lose more of its lustre.

So Martin couldn't be just answering questions during an interview could he? I regularly see posters on here (in just about every differnt topic..whether it is bikes or cars) moaning about people spouting off whereas the reality is that the vast majority are just answering questions posed to them.

The Rossi/Sharks topic also springs to mind....

Your damned if you do and damned if you don't sometimes

Iam a Mclaren fan...its just back in Dennis day they didnt pander to the Media the way whitmarsh does.

I understand Mclarens need for change, but for this bloke to constantly be offering his opinion suggests he has an empty plate.

Mclaren is a bit Hollow at the minute....Im desprately trying to warm to Hamilton but i struggle. I love his style...balls out racer, but he comes across all too fake.:( Iam asking for too much i know, But give me Mika all day over the tripe we have now!

I think Heiki will go back to Renault leaving space for Kimi. Maybe another Alonso vs Hamilton situation again? Teams always say that there is no favoritism in drivers, but lets be real, Hamilton will be the preferred driver next to Kimi. I think if Hamilton feels he isn't first, he wont stay with the team after 2010, but then where will he go?

MW wasn't offering his opinion, he was answering a question posed to him by the media. Get the difference?

Something that is being whispered in paddock circles.

Mercedes have bought a 75% interest in Brawn. Haug, their motorsport director, has always been a fan of Kimi and that, coupled with the fact that the Mercedes board are very irritated with the "cheating antics" of McLaren over the past few years, could make Kimi an attractive proposition. They are also looking for a German driver. Then how about Kimi and Rosberg?? They don't want to announce it yet, as it would destabalize the championship fight. Why? Because Button would move over to become Hamilton's partner for 2010.
