Love Loeb as a rally driver, but to stick someone that has only driven sports cars and the odd outing in F1 doesnt make him ready... Dont want him to lose the enigma he has from being the best rally driver to be the worst F1 driver.

Even if he doesn't enter still more likely that Loeb will win Abu Dhabi GP than Matt Wilson to win Rally GB.

It's more likely Loeb would win Abu Dhabi then Heikki Kovalainen - the man is a disgrace to all Finns.

Full marks for giving it a go at least. He has a lot of talent. Again this is another reason to have testing. A couple of hundred laps and I'm sure he wouldn't be too far off the pace. Couldn't be worse than poor old Badoer

1 second of him being off the pace can be attributed to the slowness of the useless DPR team.

Still, I think anyone with some talent for racing, like Loeb or Rossi can get to about a second of the pace. However, finding that last second is what makes an F1 driver. If you're a second off the pace that means you'll be almost a lap behind your teammate at the end of every race and in F1 that is (or should be) unacceptable.

F1 a different game so I dont know how he'll go but this man has amazing skills in a car. I would pay to watch him in a good F1 car

With the greatest respect I think the transition to F1 at the age of 35 is a little to big for any driver.
Stick to what you're good at, being a multiple WRC Champion is a fantastic acheivement you don't need to prove anything or make yourself look silly.

Kovalainen a disgrace to all finns?
Get off it mate!! Any second driver would struggle in a team where they only prepare one car!

Heard that all computer simulations at Mclaren are done using hamiltons setup and driving style? Well there you go sunshine....

Loeb would be a fantastic addition to F1, He is probably the most un-french Frenchman i know of!

He wears his heart on his sleeve and has a magical record in one of motorsports top categories.

Yes F1 and rally may as well be comparing breaking the sound barrier to earth orbit, but show me an f1 driver with this guys car control! his reflexes are cat-like too, check out one of his vids on that popular site where vids are posted....no not xhamster!:)

He is honest, as you can tell from his post race interviews. Frank, by the colorful language he often uses and also gentlemanly at the same time.
I really hope he makes a smooth transition into F1, but i also hope he excels at it too. GL Loeb
