Good for Rubens! Not sure if Williams can build a Podium car but they are a proper race team and exist only for F1. I the Brawn / Mcl, Mercedes thing looks interesting. Could Mercedes really leave Mcl for Brawn? I know Mcl ambition is to be the UK's Ferrari - which would mean building your own engines but that's a very big step even for Mcl??

Im pleased for williams, perhaps having an old hand like barrichello in the team will help in developing the car as well.

And also he may help their other driver with his experience too.

i like Barrichello but...

he sold his soul to the red devils years ago and now he regrets it ..

he wishes he'd gone for glory instead of cash....

but hey ...the bank manager prefers cash to glory!

This article suffers from tabloid selective reporting. There is much more depth to Rubens's situation than is reported here - crash.net you are better than this

I don't really get the hurry for Brawn to dump Rubens after he has proven to be the top Brawn driver in the last half of the season. Hard to second guess Ross but it seems like Rubens comments early in the season did not sit well with managment.

Sure he got more money. Brawn has no money and is waiting on Merc. The UK goverment provided the help to keep Brawn on the grid. Reported on F1 complete dot com. Jenson better start looking as well. The best rides are being taken. If he waits, Ross will get him for cheap. But Brawn is not worried about his WDC as Nico is headed his way. FIA help,UK help, diffuser help.
