I'm guessing it will be Trulli and Fauzy. I'd heard Davidson has been linked to the team - I hope it's true, he deserves another crack. And I think the Lotus(Proton) will be the best of the new runners. Fauzy for test driver.

Heidfeld?

I think Trulli, eventhough I think he's an awesome driver, is not able to extract the maximum out of a car at all times.

If the car is right he can be as quick as anyone (or quicker) but when the car isn't that great he seems to loose confidence or interest and just languishes at the back of the field.

I'm not talking about the trulli-train, which is in my opinion, more because of his awesome qualifying pace than because of a lack of race speed, but sometimes you just feel he's not really trying...

Would like to see Davidson or maybe Paffett get a drive in one of the cars. Get a chance to do a full season. Di Resta might have a chance at a seat becasuse he's done really well in DTM this year.

Just read some quotes from Gascoyne about this on F1-live. Apart from dissing Force India, he wants Lotus to have two experienced drivers next year, and hinted that Fauzy will get a chance at some stage, but a 2010 race seat might not happen. I imagine he will be third driver then, which is ok. It will give him time to get up to speed in a current F1 car over the winter, so he is not as disadvantaged as the likes of Grosjean and Alguersuari have been. I suppose any from Trulli, Heidfeld, Glock, Davidson, Kovalainen could get the Lotus drives. Wish the driver market would get moving.

as long as Villeneuve doesn't come back, I really don't care who drives.

I agree that Trulli won't shine at Lotus because he doesn't seem to always extract the most out of the car.

I'm thinking that heidfeld would do well, but I truly think he needs to be at the front of the grid. He's a great driver.
