Following the return of the seconded Simon Roberts to McLaren-Mercedes, Otmar Szafnauer has been promoted to the position of Force India F1 CEO, as the top flight's newest giant-killers aim to climb even further up the grid.

Roberts was on loan to FI. He is the one who got the Merc engine,gearbox and shifters in the FI car. He was never to stay. I say he did a wonderful job.
