Does this mean Bob Bell and all the other mechanics also knew about this plot? Even the mechanics that were genuinely shocked by the accident, according to the FIA transcripts? So, why have they not been fired? Where will all this end???

Even assuming for a second that the Piquets right and "trying to clean up F1", their timing is totally wrong! By doing this now, they will only encourage Max, Bernie and Todt to "manage" the FIA election to Todt's advantage - and Vatanen will lose out! Do they never stop and think?

The Piquets' need to stop this. Should they not be banned from FIA sanctioned events? At least this would stop them attending every Grand Prix to regurgitate their version of events every couple of weeks. NP jr is finished in F1, end of story. For them to continue this will in no way help them back into a driving seat. All they will succeed in doing is further alienating themselves from a potential job on the grid. What's done is done and rightly or wrongly, the FIA have closed the book on this and those(confirmed)involved are gone. Who else knew?, we will probably never know. Lets get on with the racing and put this to bed.

One things certain is that Massa wont be letting Alonso politely overtake him if he has a shot at the title as Kimmi did last season giving Massa a huge chance of winning it. I wouldn't blame him either.

Will we ever know the truth about Singapore?
I doubt the whole team knew but think there's more to it than has come out, and remember the FIA hearing has no legal status. In itself it was biased and the introduction of Witness X was farcical.

I doubt a driver of Alonso's experience would not question being fuelled so short.

We have not all moved on and swept it under the carpet. Some of us would like the full story to come out.

look your son drove into to wall i belive pat symonds that it was nelson jr,s idea in the first place. but more to the point your son is not good enough to be in f1 and no ammount of mouthing off is going to get him a drive with any team that wants to be respected and quick so go away and shut up as your constant comments about it are now just boring and pointless

I'm sure Piquet Sr. knew all about the Singapore plot well in advance as well & could have advised his son NOT TO CRASH if he felt so strongly about it. So put up & shut up Piquet, case closed.

At least JR should do well in NASCAR & Craft truck, lot's of wall's all around!!!!!!!!!!
