Rubens may not be a champ, but he has somthing most drivers would kill for....Class, and he is held in high regard by the public :)

He even lent Jenson his private jet today so he could party in brazil on sunday...like i said CLASS!

Nice quote... it's great to see a great relationship between the two lads... Maybe next year Ruben landed on Williams, but his achievement this year is outstanding. Congratulation!!

My heart goes out to Rubens and his family..
The talent has always been there but somehow luck has always eluded him.
This was probably his biggest opportunity to date to be world champion.
Rubens probably realises some that the strategy calls taken by the team this season with regard to him have been appalling and that probably cost him the title..
nevertheless..i hope to see Rubens race his 3000th gp..will be a special feeling for all his fans.

@Andy

LOL

You never know, he seems to gets better with age. The Stannah stairlift / Brawn team in 40 years time will be a force to be reckoned with :)

Poor Rubens luck never seems to run his way
but for a puncture he would still have been in contenion for the WDC.a great guy who did not get the right breaks.pity he is not staying with brawn as he and button make a good team.
i thought button drove a storming race to take the championship.congrats to jenson.

It's a pity to see that Ruben's talent is more recognized abroad than here in Brazil. In fact, here in Brazil few people recognize his talent, and lots of brazilians cheer against him, for until today brazilians don't forgive Rubens for when he let Schumacher outpass him after the last curve...
But I still hope Rubens will stay in F1 2 or 3 more years, and maybe next year he will have more luck. At least, I think Brawn will not be so good next year, and moving for another team might be good for Rubens. Let's see...

He's just hasn't won a championship yet.
