EDIT: Maybe you guys should read the article before you comment, he clearly states that it was unfortunate that Senna died, but that his death paradoxaly brought F1 to people who would normally never watch F1.

Any publicity is good publicity as far as BE is concerned. Nothing matters as long as it lines his pocket.

Although he is probably right, I would imagine it did bring some people to F1. However I wouldn't say it was "good for F1", and even if you do think that, it's a bit disrespectful to come and say it.

In what Bernie says I agree with... Senna's death did help improve the safety of F1 completly... it was such ashame that it took such a chain of tragic events like on that weekend to make the FIA realise F1 needs to be made more safer...

What ecclestone says though I would agree with... I just wish that new's articles don't twist the words to suit their title because this is what causes the problems....

agreed mossop. these days, anything that happens in F1, good or bad, is publicity for F1, and that is what bernie wants. i think many posters just read the headlines, and thus come to the wrong conclusions.
