Ari is walking into a trap. Max's words or promises are not worth the paper they are written on. Once a snake, always a snake.

I am hoping that Vatanen gets the post, however with the current FIA leadership, I am not sure it will be a fair vote.

Just hope he gets in, a dark day for motorsport if he doesn't.

Todt will be a disaster with Mosley pulling his strings....doesn't bare thinking about.

“There will be a private voting area for marking ballot papers available for those voters who would like to use it."

I think Vatanen has squeezed the FIA as much as is possible. The above excerpt was as much as he could expect really. Lets just hope that the motorclubs of the world should be as sensible as the majority on Crash.net and vote Vatanen.
Iam not holding my breath as a Todt victory is as inevitable as the sun rising in the morning! I will gladly eat every word should Vatanen win.....

Taz, shame on you for comparing the recend slightly fraudulent Afghani elections with Mad Max and Toads expected stitch up ?

The Afghani elections were bent, for sure, but NOTHING LIKE as bad as the farce Mad Max has planned.

Like Pitpass says, why are they so desperate to keep power ? What other contract can you ever think of that runs for 100 years ?

We have been robbed and the thieves are trying to keep their hands on the tiller. They must be stopped at all costs.

FORZA ARI !

I'm not so sure Vatanen would be good for motorsport. He did a really really poor job as a normal politician, I have doubts whether or not he'd be a better motorsport politician

Wims

How did he do a poor job? by not solving 3rd world poverty? or global famine?

He was one of a few euro MP's who stood against euro wide higher oil taxation and airport taxes.
So i guess that makes him a failure hey?

If he was as bad as you say why did he get elected twice?

Max threw Ari out of a FIA meeting. Why? Because Ari wanted to discuss why the voting rules were changed. Instead of unmarked ballots, max added the name of the individual so that he would know who voted for whom. He was trying to scare votes Todt's way. Ari filed a complaint to insure everyone knew what Max was up to. Getting thrown out of the meeting showed Max was caught. Max is the one that needs to be banned for life with his continued efforts to manipulate F1 and FIA for his own benefit.
