No surprise. I think this was the wrong result for F1 and motor sport in general. Now it will be the Berni, Todt and Mad Max show.

Sad, sad day.......... I thinks NASCAR is looking like a good idea. No FIA politics

Very bad news for the future harmony and fairness of motorsport but F1 in particular. I also won't be surprised to see him asking Max to stay on as an advisor. The vote for Todt wasn't for change. It was a vote for consistency and to keep the old regime clinging onto power for many years to come via a puppet.

Well at least he is open about wanting Mosley's backing. vatanen wanted it also but was refused. I think it is the sensible thing to wait and reserve judgement rather than start spouting about how motorsport is supposedly dead and wotnot before anything has happened. Regardless of who won, Mosley is on the FIA senate. The winner of the election will just be a puppet for Mosley so it probably makes no difference who won.

Dear oh dear.

If it wasn't over for F1 before, it sure is now...

What it means for the rest of FIA sanctioned series remains to be seen.
