what was i saying about 1 wdc win and he thinks he's michael schumacher.
he should be grateful to ross brawn for getting him the championship not trying to screw him for eight million.
soon he'll think he's ayerton senna and be demanding a million a race, even though senna would have wiped the floor with him.

let him go ross and keep rubens.

We’ve been trying to agree terms with Brawn, insists Jenson Button’s manager, Richard Goddard.

...after colonizing them for 250years maybe the Brit Button will work for an Indian via Force India. He'd better behave though.

Jenson has to make up his mind - make more money or be loyal and continue to race with the team that he helped to build and has proven that they can win on a regular basis. It's pointless to compare contracts and salaries that were negotiated 2 or 3 years ago (Rak & others)and suggest that he should be compensated at a similar level. The world recession has impacted the sport and cuts are a way of life. I find it hard to shed a tear for someone who complains that the millions he is offered, to do something that he clearly loves, is not enough. He must also remember that there are a lot of qualified drivers that would jump at the opportunity to drive a Brawn.

Maybe Brawn want to keep cash in the kitty to pay for an expensive Finnish driver who's currently on the market?

My guess is that Ross is tired of hearing that whining voice on the radio every weekend.

Come on...

... took a pay-cut last winter to enable the team to stay afloat in the wake of Honda's sudden and shock withdrawal from competition.

That's probably half true...
HAd JB not taken the pay cut, Brawn would have found some one else to drive his cars and JB would not have had a drive nor been World Champion...Maybe RB would have, who knows...

Plus Points :- Button is a smooth and fast driver.
Not So Good Points :- Not good if car not perfect.
When Honda pulled out last year whewre would he have gone? Brawn has an extremely good record - look at Ferrari , would they have been anywhere without him?
Thus fair to say Button has been good solid driver in an exceptionally good car which had a headstart at the beginning of the year. Therefore it could be argued car biggest factor. Button's manager should keep his mouth shut about negotiations - these are meant to be private. Should think Brawn has few drivers lined up ready to jump in so if Button is wise he should shut his "manager" up before it's too late and Brawn looks elsewhere.

sir frank showed them all the door...once you built the best car... a very good driver should bring home silverware aplenty...?

...unless... again... you search sir frank's lair and find ze pearl... which happens to be of parent nationality as your motoren supplier...anyboby catch a whiff of money in the air...?

...by the way are these sly old foxes predicting brawn mid-grid next year... are the same that prediced this year's crowning...?
