As a driver who comes across as "one of the lads" (to me at least) isn't it amusing to see him shuffle uncomfortably when put in a corner and told to give out some Hamilton style corporate twaddle.
Oh well,he who pays the piper and all that.
Let's hope MB are going to increase their financial involvement with BrawnGP,then maybe he'll get a proper champions salary to reward him for what he accepted this year to help the team survive.

That's one way of looking at it. Another way is to say that if he hadn't accepted what Brawn was offering then he wouldn't have had a drive at all this year. No one else was clamouring for his services, although I suppose he may have got a drive at Toro Rosso. To say he did it to help the team survive suggests he had an alternative.
