Hamilton was on a mission. Oh, and as usual Button blaming it on his result tyres. Just a normal day then!

i'll wait until the weights are released later this evening but hamilton has been on it since the first free practice session. now before certain people, you know who you are, try and demean his achievement by putting it all down to the fact he has kers... they are using the kers on the exit of TWO corners. all the rest of the lap they are carrying an extra 25Kg of weight. this extra weight is not in the optimum position for the balance of the car so is in fact a DISADVANTAGE. the fact that mclaren have made a competitive car with the kers system is a great credit to their engineering and hamilton's continued development of the car, turning it into a race winning package.

Strange how there is a report on Crash by a McLaren driver saying that Kers is an advantage in Abu Dhabi but then again he ended up in mid field, so what does he know...

During the first round of knockouts it was clear that Lewis was going to be on pole. The commentators on Speed made it sound interesting and exciting but it was no doubt that LH had pole in the bag.
