KR coined the same exact phrase to justify his poor qualifying (driving) yesterday! Fisi said:"I'm disappointed because I haven't done a lot for Ferrari...but it's not an easy situation :-o as the car isn't easy to drive :? and it's not quick enough :?. I did my best :p, but it wasn't easy to adapt my style of driving to this car.”!! Could someone from Ferrari, please remind KR and Fisi, that it only works the other way around! If Fisi wants to continue racing in F1 next year, his chances might improve if he kept his mouth shut and the throttle on his car wide open!

Poor Fisi. His dream of driving Ferrari looks like it's ended his F1 career for now at least. He was a regular points man for force india and now he's a joke. Morale of the story - "be careful what you wish for"

I think one of the new teams would be well advised to pick up the services of Giancarlo Fisichella. He does a solid, rather than spectacular job and he brings all important experience to a team who would not be familiar with the finer details of going racing in Formula 1.

People seem to forget (probably because the majority weren't watching then), that Fisi was considered a very good driver in his debut Jordan year of 1997, and regularly did better than what the car should have been capable of.

Shame, Fisi was blinded by his desire to race for Ferrari. It's like meeting your Hero's in person. Often the reality doesn't compare to the dream.

Ferrari had done a 'Ducati' and built the car around Massa. Making it difficult to adapt to other drivers. Just like Ducati when Stoner went on extended leave, they were left high & dry. On reflection Kimi has performed miracles with a team who have clearly fallen out of love with him.

This is further reinforced by Ferrari stopping the development of the car when Massa was forced out, preferring to focus on the development of next years car, i.e. when Massa returns.

Unless you were being ironic FreddyFreeloader, Fisichella was not "a regular points man for force india". Unless you have only been watching F1 since the Belgian GP. He only ever scored points for Force India once, at the Belgian GP. The first time they had ever scored any.

yeah, Fisi, you competeted well at the Badoer level to see who coule have the worst set of finishes ever in a Ferarri. Maybe you could get a seat at Team Ren-oh 4CV F1 next year and have a real shot at last place. :(
