It would help create even more international visibility for the sport and bring in sponsors and a new generation of fans in countries which have traditionally followed and hosted F1 events.

20 races a season makes sense. The teams spend a fortune developing the cars which doesn't depend on how many races they do. If they do more races, it doesn't cost any more in development. More races gives more TV coverage and more coverage for sponsors so helps justify the high rates asked of sponsors. If they group races, e.g. China and Japan on consecutive weekends, it helps control travel costs. But Bernie has to put more of the takings back into the teams if he wants them to do 20 races.
