yea 20 GPs a year sounds great - as long as Spa, Monza, Silverstone, Monaco and Suzuka are permanent fixtues along with a N.American race, then let Bernie do as he pleases with the other 14 races

BE is suffering from gout in his foot and so is moving about the YAS paddock in a golf buggy, he took the visiting BRDC president with gin and tonic in hand for a ride around the paddock to see what it should be like.

For people like me, who enjoy traveling around to races Bernie with his demand for races in very out of the way places is forcing us to take up other interests. Keep up the way you are going Bernie and you may still kill the spectater role.

More races in parts of the world to replace Camel racing
means more money for the so called supremo at great cost to the teams.Does this man not know when to stop what happened to the economic downturn and carbon footprints, there is no way that Kers will offset any of this greed.

Typical troll mentality (or lack thereof): he wants quantity, not quality! Why being so modest in your senile dreams Bernie? Take it up a notch and lets talk 30 races a year in China and Mongolia and please stay there! Actually, F1 fans would welcome the return of Monza, GB, France and USA for starters. It would help create even more international visibility for the sport and bring in sponsors and a new generation of fans in countries which have traditionally followed and hosted F1 events.

20 races a season makes sense. The teams spend a fortune developing the cars which doesn't depend on how many races they do. If they do more races, it doesn't cost any more in development. More races gives more TV coverage and more coverage for sponsors so helps justify the high rates asked of sponsors. If they group races, e.g. China and Japan on consecutive weekends, it helps control travel costs. But Bernie has to put more of the takings back into the teams if he wants them to do 20 races.
