Seb winning this race was always on the cards. Just wish Lulu was still in the race so he got spanked faire and square to stop the muppets saying Lewis this and Lewis that

Kobayashi is a great driver. I saw him raced skillfully and agressively in Macau. He has the potential to win in F1 IMHO!

Vettel would have won based on the pre break issue with lulu's car. What would have happen in the race we can speculate but it's safe to assume that he would have won it anyway. lulu was just too light and the pace of the McLaren wasn't sustainable over the distance of the race. Congrats to Seb next year's WDC and congrats to JB the current WDC!

Gutsy drive from Kobayashi and once again with Jenson Button. Next year we may see the same. :D

I have to disagree with Paddy Lowe about the necessity to change circuits instead of cars to aid overtaking. The Yas Marina circuit lends itself to close racing, yet the downforce generated and subsequent turbulent air means that following another car on any type of corner is very hard to do.

Change the cars, not the circuits! To me, they should be nothing more than very fast, very safe and very sleek karts.

Got to agree that it's the cars which have to change. Far too many classic circuits have already been spoiled by the addition of bus stop chicanes, and the new ones designed to help F1 cars overtake are Mickey mouse kart tracks. On top of this, the downforce means they cause more damage to the surface than truck racing! Even the F1 drivers have been complaining about the state of circuits that their own cars are responsible for ruining.

NCR: Got to agree that it's the cars which have to change.

Its not just the cars. At Monaco its difficult to pass someone on a bicycle. Hungaroring is another circuit where cars never pass. Even in the days when cars did pass each other regualrly, Hungaroring was always a procession. The most exciting thing ever happened there was Mansell losing a nut.

Reducing the number of wheels allowed by a factor of two would sort all those problems out.

I will bet all my money that the V8 Supercars from Aus will put on a better show than the race today/tonight. But that is Formula one and has been for the last 10-15 years (Since I started watching) so get over it. Formula 1 is about more than racing, it is the glamour, technology and Ferrari.
