Mark started abit slow then started setting fastest lap after faster lap in the first stint and was right on vettles tail. After pitting he lost time somewhere then he just faded away abit. But still a good result and a great battle at the end with button. That was the best battle to the end of a race for 2nd this year!

Best part of the race was the Webber/Button battle for the last few laps. Good clean racing, brought a smile to my face anyway. The high point of a pretty boring race.

It was only good because Button had nothing to lose. Normally drivers in the top 3 drive very conservatively to preserve points rather than risk breaking the ridiculously flimsy cars in an overtake.

That's a very interesting point actually. You have to wonder how the same cars on the same track which produced such a processional race could then produce 3 or 4 laps of such an intense battle. Is it really just a co-incidence that it was the final laps of the final race of the season?

Maybe the "overtaking" advisors need to look at drivers/teams attitudes more than the cars and the tracks?
