@richard

Out of interest where did the nickname lulu come from ?

Just curious as he looks nothing like lulu, I saw her at Glasgow airport a few years back, looks nothing like Lewis :)

F1 » Hamilton: S**t happens in F1 sometimes!

Lewis Hamilton: I had a good start, but I realised early on that something wasn’t right with the brakes.

lulu. in practice and in quali, you had a brake problem as you were constantly locking up. i thought your tyres would not survive that problem, but maybe you were just too hard on your brakes???

Always hitting the kerbs Hard, always locking up the fronts, his passes are always very last minute out of control crazy driving, that coupled with an uncaring attitude as it were someone else driving.Man,what a freefall.

Sure does, but better to happen now than when he's fighting for the championship next season :p

Anyway, he still kept 5th in this year's championship (1st behind the dominate Brawns and Red Bulls) and won the 2nd half of the season! :)

Hannah - you must be British claiming 5th to be a good position and trying to eek out some glimer of a victory.

Honestly - GO AWAY!! Hamilton bashing is my job, not yours you cheap imitation you. And what you on about kerbs for anyway? The kerbs in Abu Dahbi arn't all that high and no other car had problems. Yes Hammy is hard on his car and I can see him struggling with fuel consumption problems next year as he has not yet learned to play the race over 60 or 70 laps but tries to win on the first. With heavier fuel loads, his tires probably won't last as long as they should at some races.

You know I'm British :p And 5th out of however many drivers there were this season isn't bad at all. I mean Kovalianen only managed 7th with a much better car last season. Like I said, 1st after the dominant Brawns and Red Bulls who were quick from the off :p I'm happy with that result, whether you think it's rubbish or are just trying to put Hamilton down for the millionth time is irrelevant to me.

I swear stories like this are posted purely to start an argument between the usual suspects above.

Tell me, if he's so hard on his brakes how come this issue hasn't crept up at other circuits, say Singapore when several other drivers had problems e.g old hands like Webbo and Button?

Also first time i've heard of someone who is accused of locking the fronts regularly somehow ruining a rear brake!

Cuckoo the lot of you

It is kinda ironic that Lewis had brake problems in Yaz Marina when Singapore where he won is harder on the brakes. richard may be right on this one.

andrew mac, honestly will not go away even if you paid him too. :D

Well I go with the second is the first of the loosers school of thought so he is really the fourth of the loosers.

And yes, I think 5th is rubbish. Hardly worth turning up for!
