A raw deal for Kobyashi yes but what about all the other employees who would loose their jobs?

Toyota are out, it's obvious in F1 rumours don't keep doing the rounds without substance. It will be a shame if they do go especially for the staff as Andrew has pointed out, but why would they stay waht have they acheived? in every other area of motorsport they have suceeded but F1 has been a burden. Koba deserves a drive and I hope he gets one, full of fighting spirit I like this guy.

Koba will get a drive regardless because he is what sponsors dream about.

I think that if this is true then it just goes to prove that F1 and major manufacturers are not compatible and the sport should be left to the "garden shed" manufacturers and small teams.

With Toyota or not Kobayashi's performances in the 2 races he has done so far suggest that he has the genuine talent to secure a drive and certainly more than one or two of the "pay" drivers who we have had to suffer at the tail end of the field this year

It'd be a shame for Kobayashi not to get another driver but I won't be bothered about seeing the back of Toyota. All they've done is thrown money at the project to stand still by not hiring the right people. They had several chances to bust a gut and get in proper top end drivers but wasted their time on journeymen like Ralf, Trulli etc.

Come on McLaren! 1 year deal! What have you got to lose? Hamilton will wipe the floor with everyone next year anyway.

Usual Hamilton bashing/jealousy pending...
