it is very easy to like a track when your drivers have just been on the top two steps of the podium.

I though it was flashy and the racing pretty boring appart from the last few laps.

To much fizzy drinks must be causing brain damage!

How is Abu Dahbi like Silverstone? Is it the boring racing that both provide?

Surley the two tracks are poles apart?

Like Silverstone? That's like comparing Abu Dhabi's Corniche to Margate. Yeah, pass the crack pipe

How crap is Abu darby ? complete crap - leave it to let the sand cover it up as soon as possible.
Remember those 'car park' races in the US, thirty years ago? reminds me of that.

Just returned from Hols in Abu Dhabi.
Could not get tickets, so watched from The Corniche.
The Bubbly must have really flowed for Christian to make a comment like that !!!
Look at photos of EMPTY GRANDSTANDS during the F1 qualifying, or the GP2 races, or even the Porche Cup.
Yas Island is about one hours drive from the city,
and was a total no drive area.
Most of the hotels laid on free courtesy buses,
but these did not leave till 3,pm on Sat, and Sun.
just in time for F1. Nothing else
No Paying Punters !!!
This was a total Corporate Venture, for the Beautiful People, to mix with the Filthy Rich,
Do Christian or Bernie, ever remember half empty grandstands at Silverstone,??
