A great man and he will be sorely missed by many. Interestingly I read 'The great and the good from the world of F1 and motorcycling have come out to pay their respects to Tom Wheatcroft'
To be honest, where does Ecclestone fit in there? If it had said the greedy and the power crazy in BE's case I could understand it. Ecclestone should show how much a friend he was of Tom and pay for the refurbishment of the Donington at least to it's former condition in Tom's honor. Tom did more for British Motor Sport than any other individual, he was a wonderful person.

big zipper, i cant see bernie bailing out gillet, for it is he who has the lease from tom. however, if dvll forego their lease and pass it back to the wheatcroft family, maybe then bernie could step in. sad to see so few commenting on this thread. still i suppose that few know the history of tom.
