On a human level, what a shame for the staff (IF they aren't absorbed elsewhere in toyota)

On a sporting basis, big deal, Toyota only stand out for their atrocious return on investment.

The second coming of the independants is with us, and the lightbulb in Brian Henton's shed burns just that little bit brighter today.

Tis a sad day, to be sure but not wholey unexpected. They are not competitive enough. My thoughts are with the employees, hopefully they can be picked up by one of the new emerging teams. It's not good to see another supplier quitting the field. Perhaps this might be a warning shot across the bows of the FIA that things are not all rosy in the garden!

Ah well , No surprise there , Well at least not to us , Bernie on the otherhand apparently thought they would stay ! , Still atleast there are others waiting to take their place . .One wonders how Toyota could get it so catastrophically wrong all these years ? . .

Is a big shame as they were starting to show some good form towards the end of the season and had a driver that was able to drive.....

Sad really, 8 years at 250 million a year. Nearly £2 billion for what? At the very least they should make sure Kobayashi gets a race seat!

Stick to rallying thats what your good at. Mean time can I book a test drive of your white elephant Lexus supercar.. The LF-A?

Simon Toyota were in F1 for the wrong reason

Toyota was not passionate about motor racing they went into F1 to increase their production vehicles sales.
The excerise was not successful reason they pulled out of F1.

It is a real shame for any team to quit no matter who they are.

On the plus side, Sauber should now be back on the grid.
