Their lead aerodynamicist is from NASCAR! Surely they should have recruited someone with F1 knowledge.

I think they will struggle on the driver front too, I have thought for a long time no American drivers would want to drive for them. The only American I think who would be suitable is Marco Andretti but he's not going to go there it's too much of a risk.

Peter Windsor knows more about F1 than Adrian Newey, Frank Williams, Michael Schumacher, Ron Dennis, Bernie Ecclestone, Jean Todt, Max Mosley and James Allen put together. He's seen it, done it, made the effin t'shirt.

For all of you to slag him off like this, well, it says something about the mentality of the average Crash poster.

The man could turn water into wine. He is an alchemist. I wouldn't be suprised to see Scott Speed as F1 WDC next year if he's under Windsor's employ.

As for employing a Nascar designer, everyone knows that the vehicles in that series are some of the most aerodynamically advanced in the history of mankind - they literally cut through the air like razors.

Did it even occur to you people whilst Windsor wishes U.S participation by Drivers their are none available with the licence requirements except for say Scot Speed who has been their, done that and frowned upon.

Windsor is very articulate and has not entered this venture without an open mind. The aerospace aspect is the reasoning behind the team framework being U.S identified.

What the hell Peter Fan? Peter Windsor knows nothing. Anyone who watches the speed channel knows that.

I think if he got Ben Spies into the car though, we might see something very special.

I welcome the new team with open arms, but who are their drivers? Race engineers? Technicians? Dept heads? pit lane crew? Unless you have a team that works well together, knows what they are doing and have the experience and intelligence for F1, then it wont matter how much money you throw at the sport, it is not going to work. It's a bit like cooking. Yeah, don't giggle....You can have all the right ingredients to make a great souffle, but without the experience and expertise it turns into egg custard!
