Great plan that you killed competition with single tire rule Bernie. Now no tire company wants part in your exercise in greed.

So have Michelin and Goodyear apparantly. Though Goodyear do say that they continually assess their option. Continental?

Goodyear is in financial difficulties. Some think it might even be forced into bankrupcy. I doubt they will enter F1.

What happens if no-one is interested in subsidising Bernies empire with tyres. I have a couple of sets of old Goodyear eagles in my garage they can have :)

Goodyear owns 75% of Dunlop so if Goodyear isn't entering because of financial difficults than you can strike Dunlop off the list.

Oh my! :-o
I picked Pirelli in the poll
Don't I look like a right numpty now!
Won't be goodyear, company is going down hill. With all this new investment from the middle and far east, it will be some obscure brand that no one has ever heard of! It's going to get rocky for a while, methinks! :?
Bet Ecclestumpy has it all planned out already though and is just waiting to revealwho the new supplier is going to be.

Pirelli state that they are only interested in creating products for the real world. If F1 had tyres that acted nearer to real world products it would instantly transform the racing to allow overtaking!! OK the cars would lose some mechanical grip on the racing line but would gain a massive amount OFF the racing line as the track wouldn't be covered in marbles and the difference in dirt between on and off line would be reduced significantly. I can't believe they haven't done something about this under the 1 tyre manufacturer before now.

Can someone say coronary thrombosis? I can see Bernie grabbing his chest right now. Toyota, BMW and Bridgestone at the same time? I also planned to stop watching the series this year too so losses all around.
