This is racist, white drivers will struggle to reach F1 soon as the easy path is handed to their asian cousins!

I guess it no less racist than USF1's plans for an American driver. Or Alonso's move to Ferrari backed by sponsors Santander.

i dont agree with any team of any nationality being pro their own national driver.Fauzy is not good enough to be in F1 regardless .This pro malaysian team sickens me.basicaly if successful it will up sticks and move to malaysia as a showcase for malaysian greatness after all the hard work has been done in the uk.they should take a leaf out of Force Indias Book.

Well it looks like there are some far right idiots on here this morning.

There is nothing wrong at all with an F1 team promoting home-grown talent and is some thing that has gone on for years. Look at how many Italians drove Minardis. Also, Alonso at McLaren - Spanish bank Santander. Alonso at Ferrari - Spanish bank Santander. Also, look at how many Brits there have been in Williams and McLaren. If the guy is good enough to be in F1 then he deserves to be in F1. Simple as that.

Firstly i am not far right nor an idiot.Fauzy's record is not exactly Top Banana is it 4th in gp2 Asia and second in wsr.I am talking about nationality not race. “look at how many Brits there have been in Williams and McLaren" well there has been a few over the years (3 Finnish at McLaren Too) however i doubt the British teams are pro British. Hamilton earned his seat in lower formula, Button finished third in his first year of f3.Coulthard and Hill where test drivers. Brundle and Blundell old hands.” F1 team promoting home-grown talent and is something that has gone on for years” Yes but it doesn't make it right does it .which is my gripe. Formula 1 is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport not a place for drivers with wealthy nationalistic supporters .for the same reason i don't agree with USF1 which also sickens me. If an American driver was meant to be in formula 1 he would win junior Formula.
