Of course there are going to be similarities to the Force india, both designs are the intellectual property of Mike Gascoigne.

It's unlikely that the designs are the intellectual property of Mike Gascoigne. When an individual invents or designs something in the course of working for an employer, the intellectual property rights belong to the employer, not the individual. (Or to no-one if not protected.) This is the case in law and it would require a clause in the contract to change it.

I know there are those of you who no matter what this team does, have such a hard on for Lotus to be back in F1 that things like this do not matter to you. To be honest, this is small stuff and I know more and bigger stuff will come out. Eventually you will have to say I was right: This is NOT Lotus!

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see them back as well but this stinks to high hell.

I though the Lotus name had been dragged through the mud and raped of its significance already but I was surley wrong. They are not quite done with it yet. For shame.

Yeah. I heard they're going to link up with some other great names from Britain's motoring past and launch a new range of baggage carts for Heathrow's T5. The Lotus Rover MG CityCart GTi (3bhp).

wait for their new signup Jarno Trulli to go around with photos and his laptop showing it's a different car from a Force India!

(sorry, couldn't resist.)

Confused. Why does an article about Aerolab suing Force India state in the second paragraph they "would NOT be taking legal action"? Make your mind up :?

Colin Chapman would be turning in his grave if he knew a bunch of Malaysians had bought his company name and tried to pass it off as the original...

call it something real... Force Malaysia? The Lotus thing is just for profile.

Sure, I could go fry some chicken in Kentucky, but that wouldn't make it KFC!
