Well he is experianced, which is what a new team need, at least one experianced driver to at least have a chance of points, also an older driver can engineer the car better than a rookie!

Is he the right man?, lucky for me I don't call the shots! but I would like to see the old man back in the sport!

When you hire a driver with credentials of JV you not looking for a "Engineer" dude. Really you sound a little like the TV dummy Windsor!
I hope this comes to pass. JV is still a very big fan of Nascar, close to home and his kids, that maybe the deciding factor.

J, baby always you friend, have a go!

JV's already tried to lead a new team to the front, and failed miserably. And that was while he was in his prime, and with a better-funded team against a less-competitive grid. Trulli isn't as talented a driver, but I'd rate him higher for technical ability and commitment. Klien's a good option as he's done so much testing, and I'm sure he'd be cheaper than either Jacques or Jarno. Heidfeld would be my ideal #1 for a new team though.

Can't imagine a talented driver like JV being happy to reside at the back of the grid in a second rate team, frustration would get the better of him. Though saying that a frustrated JV always was very entertaining!!

It's amazing how so many seem to know so much. I know it's only your opinion for some of you, but you should try and read a bit on the subject before writing nonsense. It takes more than a good pilot to start a F1 team.
