The FIA should back up the comments by saying yes they have crash tested.

I bet they turn up with a days of thunder Nascar special with an old BAR wing bolted to the back they borrowed of JV !

rob, on f1sa, windy says that they have crash tested "some components"! probably the rear view mirrors and the airbox. yet lotus , with far less developement time (??????) say that they are already crash testing. i feel that if windy wants usf1 to be taken seriously, he needs to SHOW the public some PROOF of progress. he says that he has bought some trucks from brawn (the mind boggles) and also says their car will be ready in feb. didnt he say before, that he would have a rolling chassis in oct/nov? now he intends turning up at bahrain with NO testing. oh deary me!

They don't have a car. They haven't signed any drivers. Do they even have any staff? All USF1 seems to be is a few laptops, some Brawn trucks, and an idiot in charge of things. Surely the ideal team for Howett to join - even he couldn't f*** up this mess any further.

They had a segment on SpeedTV (US station) the other week with a "tour" of the factory, it did not look very busy, and really did just look like a handful of people (talking half a dozen at best) sitting around with laptops and showed the one machine that had already been seen on the internet.

Suffice to say, it was not a very convincing display of how much progress they have made.

It is obvious that Windsor is only in this to sell the team as soon as possible. The guy is a businessman, not a sportsman. USF1 are the only ones not to have signed an agreement preventing them from selling the team.

The article says he denies that remark.

He did quit his day job. First sign he is going to work on his team. I'll wait and see.

I hope im proved wrong, but I think this team has FAIL written all over it
