He'd only really do Jerez 97 again to make sure he'd take Jacques out properly... just like Damon in Adelaide... he clearly doesn't regret that

And this is partly why he is one of the greatest.

After all his success he can admit mistakes and still enjoys his first win all those years ago and is honest - a rarity amoung today's drivers at times.

Pity he still isn't racing. Ferrari might have kept some key people and be where they should be.

It's getting to Shuey that the general public perception is that he was a cheat and he's working on removing that perception but won't work for him as it did not for other sports champions who were caught out cheating and tried same.

Shame Sheuy Shame

andrew mac ....best you take them rose-tinted spectacles off.... I think there's a lot more moments he should be admitting to, the thing that disappoints me is that he was good enough to get the results so I never could understand why he had to resort to cheating. :? NO I'm most definitely not a fan

I think it is not necessary. Schumi has a fantastic carrier. 15 years on the front of the F1 is very tough, some mistake is nothing. Even Pele had some red & yellow card, and don't forget Senna...

Looking back I am also very sorry for taking Damon out in Adelaide and the Monaco qualifying incident was deeply regrettable.

No mention of the special veto power Ferrari was given nor the extra help the FIA gave it's most valuable team over his reign. Tainted the whole time.
