Could ex-Toyota man Timo Glock be the preferred option to spearhead the Manor challenge on F1 in 2010?

I feel sorry for Timo if this is the best he can get for next season. Are Renault really going to pull out of F1 next month? That will really f*** up Kubica's chances of getting a decent drive. I can't believe they were callous enough to sign him if they were in any doubt about continuing. At least Toyota were honest with their drivers.
I think Virgin/Manor would be a good choice for rookies such as Carroll or di Grassi - I'd be happy if either of them got the drive, they deserve it. But Carroll a pay driver? Does he have any sponsorship? I'd always presumed it was only a lack of funds that was keeping him out of F1, he's certainly talented enough.

I am lead to believe that there is quite a sizable fighting fund behind Adam from a group of Irish business backers to get a few teams interested. You are dead right Cardinal, he has the talent, and what'smore, he is extremely focused on whatever he drives. Apparently though, DiGrazzi has an unbelievable budget behind him, maybe even a lot bigger than some of the 2009 pay drivers. What would stand to Adam though is that most of the Manor team are his pit team from A1GP Team Ireland, from Gerry Hughes, Dave O'Neill and almost all crew, so the bedding in process would be very seamless. having been lucky had press accreditation to get close to the team in Brands in May, they work great together

Manor haven't been bought by Virgin they have put their name to the team allowing manor to attract investment alot more easily than they could with their own name.

That's just pure speculation on your part and you know it. There's a big chance di Grassi could sign for Virgin/Manor, but I reckon Carroll has an equally big chance - hopefully Glock will get a better team which he deserves.........Sauber? I really want to see Carroll in F1. Perhaps Virgin will put enough money into the team to allow them to sign drivers based on talent not budget.
