F1 » Haug hints at 'some surprises' in Mercedes GP line-up

Norbert Haug has suggested that it would be wise not to try second-guessing the driver line-up at Mercedes Grand Prix in F1 2010 - with Nico Rosberg, Nick Heidfeld, Kimi Raikkonen, Jenson Button and even Michael Schumacher all having been linked to the team...

I guess in Norbert Haug's mind, Heidfeld could be classified as a 'surprise signing'.

The only things that would be surprising yet still (very) remotely possible for me would be:

-'Keeping' Kova
-Kubica if his Renault deal falls through
-Ralf Shuey

Anything else would be completely random, as opposed to just very random.

Would have expected Rosberg officially announced by now btw...But maybe they want to have some extra publicity by doing all the announcements seperately, or announce both drivers at the same time at some event or something...

What about Kobyashi and M Schumacher?! :p

I think that it'll definatly be Rosberg, and either Button or Heidfeld, everyone's talking as though Button is definatly going to McLaren but until it's actually confirmed I'm not so sure.
Plus, if Button goes to McLaren, does that mean bye bye Kimi?

It's going to be such a disappointment when the driver line-up is fully announced coz none of it is going to be as drastic as we (I anyway) hope it will be

Though they dislike each other, a dream team would be Michael Schumacher - Kimi Raikkonen line up. Schumacher would probably be professional enough to not mind having Kimi as a teammate. And Kimi is Kimi. Nuff said. Bring on Ferrari, McLaren and the rest of the pretenders on.
