F1 » Raikkonen could yet be in F1 in 2010 – with Mercedes GP

Kimi Raikkonen may not yet be driven into an enforced sabbatical from F1 in 2010, it emerges - as speculation heightens that the Ferrari refugee and 2007 world champion could wind up alongside Nico Rosberg at Mercedes Grand Prix

I don't think he'll come back. Kimi himself said he was only interested in joining McLaren, Mercedes/Brawn won't have the best car on the grid by a long shot. Kimi is bored with F1 I think, and wants to go rallying. If Mercedes choose him over Heidfeld yet again I will not be happy. Give Quick Nick a chance! Love to see Kimi in WRC.

Not likely.
Kimi has said that he isnt in talks with Brawn and he thinks they will have two German drivers next year. That said, it sound like the Mercedes car will be good next year so I hope Brawn at least approaches him about a drive. There are not enough great drivers in F1 at the moment so it would suck to lose Kimi.

As much as I like Heidfeld, I dont think that he and Rosberg are anything near a match for Massa/Alonso, Hamilton/Button or even Webber/Vettel.

Oh come on make up your mind ! , Mind you could it be that McLaren have approached his management cos their handling of Jenson went all pear shaped , ( them thinking that he would cave in with regards to money ) and now they are short of a driver . .

I'd rather seen Button in a Force India and Raikkonen and Heidfeld filling the seats at Brawn/McLaren...Now though, I don't know.
I believe Heidfeld is able to kick Rosberg's behind but that would only be fun to watch if Mercedes GP would prove to be the team to beat. I think Heidfeld deserves a win or two, however I rather see Kimi in F1 than out of it. Kimi's style is more spectecular, good fun to watch even in this year's Ferrari.
If Mercedes builds the 3rd best car we would see a pairing of Heidfles and Rosberg come in p5 and p6 all year without drama. With Kimi, stuff happens.
