I think someone at Crash is trying to wind us up purpose. Everyone knows this story of MS going to Mercedes is b*llsh*t, and yet they insist on writing another story on it just to get a reaction.

Why is it bull sh*t,if they were going to sign heidfeld they would have done it and announced it by now.the same goes for raikonen.

i think they are definately after schumacher and will leave it until the last possible moment to sign someone else if schuey won't do it.

They are after Kubica, that's why they haven't signed Heidfeld yet. Heidfeld is in no position to demand anything, although he's IMO a better driver than Kubica Mercedes know Heidfeld has no better option than to drive for them so they can make him wait. Realistically Heidfeld's 2nd best option is to remain at Sauber which is a far cry from being at a manufacturer team both competitively and financially as it stands right now.

With Kimi OTOH, it's more like if Kimi had wanted to be signed, it would have happened already.

To me it's even more unlikely Shuey takes some management position at Mercedes than take the race seat. And I think he will never take the race seat.

I wish he would return to racing in F1 but it would be best if he just enjoys life and his family. He is TOO OLD! (Michael, if you read this don't be angry, just stay alive and happy!).

Ooh, the Daily Mirror said it so it must be true. Come on Crash, you're really scraping the barrel using the Mirror as a source for your stories. Where's tomorrows story coming from? The Beano?
