Mario Theissen to remain in role as motorsport director with BMW rather than take up position with Sauber F1 team

webber, what exactly do you mean????

mario brought bmw through its planned cycle to third (or was it second?) last year. a very good achievement. they failed this year, as did ALL the favoured teams. and even when they were really down , mid season, he didnt give up, but continued to develop and bring them up the grid again. no mean achievement!! he will be missed in the pits and i wish him continued success in his motorsport division, who are now set to improve saloon type racing.

Wasnt it Theissen himself who said BMW will be beating McLaren Mercedes by 2007?
If he sets himself up, he's gonna get taken down.
Unfortunate for him because i think their is still place in F1 for Mario.......at USF1 :p
