F1 » McLaren can handle Hamilton and Button, insists Whitmarsh

Martin Whitmarsh is adamant that McLaren-Mercedes will have no difficulty in handling two F1 World Champions in the shape of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button in 2010 - even though the ghost of Fernando Alonso still haunts the corridors at Woking...

It'll be fine - no diva-like Alonso tantrums from these two. And they are together for 3 years, so will know they need to have a good working relationship. They'll be pretty closely matched on the track too, so it's gonna be great fun to watch. Personally, I think Ferrari will be more worried about their pairing.

Define "handle".

Macca will implode with 2 drivers with their name on the WDC trophy and a certain Daddy.

Ferrari will implode thanks to a certain prima-donna spoilt brat and the next scandle or "-gate".

No I think staying at MGP would the lions den, he would be getting the raw deal when Rosberg would getting all the help and JB strategy wouldn't be switched from 3 to 2 as wasn't done with Rubens.

The more and more I read about RB, the more I distrust him, used car, buy, wouldn't

Better pull out the pram, if Lewis even percieves Button is getting better treatment he will have a fit, after all he WAS WDC two years ago, never mind Button is THE current Champion. And dont forget Lewis' shoe shine box,Michael Schumacher's back in town.

rob, alonso and button are like chalk and cheese, in temperment. alonsos latin temper makes him far more volatile and apt to do the unexpected. button is far calmer and laid back. so much so that i think lulu will have trouble trying to outphysc him. may be wrong, but i am reasonably sure that there will be one disgruntled mclaren driver, by mid-season
