Even though Toyota signed the Concorde Agreement, this doesn't mean the FIA has to force Toyota in for 2010. Why don't they announce Sauber as the replacement?

Virgin Racing. That's a really interesting name, and still wonder who are the remaining drivers for the rest of the teams.

We need answers, quick.

So FIA counting on this Stefan GP team taking over Toyota presumably? That's fine as long as Sauber do get their place, Peter has a true racing spirit and that is needed in Formula 1!
I could have sworn that Toro Rosso had confirmed Algersuari last week...
Virgin racing, lol, we all knew it was coming but I would have thought that Branson or Manor would want to announce the tie-up first. Obviously not

Oh, and USF1 are officially going to have the WDC next season :p

why doesn't toyota sell their grid spot to Sauber for a $1, pound or Euro?

It would save Toyota from a Financial penalty as they had ensured a team for their slot and it gets Sauber on the grid. No harm, no foul.

I think I would have gone down this road as an opportunity first and bowed out as a last resort to try to ensure fulfilment of the contract or at least try to pass on the responsibility to another party or team.

cant understand hannahs remark about wdc either. it wont be danica anyway. she has signed a multi-year deal in irl. but that person -TBA- is going to be very busy next year.

interesting about toyota. they signed the concord agreement, so their position should be shown in the numbering system. bernie can hardly fine them, if their place has been excluded!!

From the FIA website list- Toyota Motorsport GmbH remains formally bound by the Concorde Agreement to put forward a team for participation, though it has indicated that it will not be in a position to do so. An announcement will be made regarding this entry in due course.

We wait and see the!
