F1 » Sauber secures 2010 F1 grid slot


Sauber will race next year after the Swiss-based outfit was awarded the 13th entry in the 2010 FIA F1 World Championship.

Sense has prevailed, choosing a true racer whose been in F1 for numerous years over a team that noone has ever even heard of.

I would think that Heidfeld would be at the top of the wish list, that's fine, I would like to see maybe Kobayashi and Davidson there though...

YEAAAAHHH NOW GO IN THERE AND PICK UP WHERE U LEFT OF PICK TO DECENT DRIVERS AND KICK SOME ASS WIN SOME RACES AND BE UP THE TOP END OF THE 2010 CHAMPIONSHIP IVE ALLWAYSLOVED THIS TEAM I HOPE IT DOES THEM SOME GOOOD!! :)

all credit to sauber for plugging on when the fia were prevaricating. it must have taken some courage to continue work and design, not knowing if bernie was going to listen to reason or not. i reckon that he will hold onto quick nick and put a youngster in the second car.

Excellent, common sense has indeed prevailed, Sauber has his entry and we are now back a a full 26 car grid which is what we all want to see

Lets hope Renault stay in or sell up quick to a good buyer (i.e. Prodrive or Lola)
