Well done Crash, a picture of Bernie just as the lighning bolts fire from his fingertips into the body of Luke Skywa... oh hang on I'm a little confused! Saying that The Leader of the Empire and Bernie both share a few of the same values after all, doom and gloom despite being wildly powerful, small and shrivelled etc

USF1 and Campos to fail before the first hurdle?

If Bernie is aware of this now, why doesnt he do somthing now? Perhaps a technical link up such as the McLaren/Force India will help, and Bernie is the man that can make it happen.

USF1 was a calamity from the start, A1GP F1 is not!

Hopefully he is just goading them to produce some results. I have looked for comments from Anderson and Windsor and find none. Although Windsor says the chassis is almost finished. Just making a few minor changes for the new fuel regs. Like he didn't understand them months ago.

APPARENTLY:
Campos haven't payed anyone for a couple of months, (suppliers and staff) and the only money they have for next year is the money Bruno is trying to bring with him (so far significantly short of the $20m promised.) Many of the staff currently seeking alternative employment.

Thats what I hear from my man in the know!

USF1 doesnt sound particularly rosie either does it....

I will feel really bad for Bruno if Campos doesn't make it on the grid. We don't hear about USF1 since they're in the states and there are no F1 journalists on their front door every day. Bernie is just making speculations like a lot of people, but in due time we will surely know the circumstances.

So why don't the FIA tell these jokers to get lost and get Lola and Prodrive to replace them? If campos and usf1 are struggling for money before the season has even started then they are clearly not going to last, even if they somehow make in to Bahrain! They are the Andrea Moda and Pacific for the 21st century. I thought F1 was past having joke teams these. Proof that the team selection process was flawed.

Not so long ago a new team had to post a bond ($100 Mil?) to the FIA to prove that they had the funds necessary to enter the championship. Apparently during the breakaway threat they removed that requirement in a vain attempt to fill the grid should the FOTA teams actually leave. I guess it shows how close F1 was to imploding.

Will anyone really miss USF1 or Campos or any of the new teams? The grid will still be full now that Sauber have been allowed an entry. As for the fake "Lotus", USF1, Campos and Virgin/Manor, I couldn't care less if they showed up. They will only toddle about at the back of the grid acting as moving chicanes anyway.
