The FIA confirms that it will appeal against the French High Court's decision to quash Flavio Briatore's lifetime ban from F1 over the 'Singapore-gate' race-fixing scandal - in order to 'ensure the continuing integrity and safety of the sport'

to say that the f1 community was stunned into shock over the verdict last week, is a bit over the top. a lot of followers of f1 were not surprised with the verdict, as it was a point of law. the verdict did not rule on the guilt or otherwise of briatore, but just on the procedures, or lack of them.

FIA will get laughed out of court I believe with there integrity in a plastic bag.

as has been said many times they didn't even follow there own max procudures nevermind french law that govens the FIA...JUST WASTING THERE TIME AND MONEY

i think neither should be in F1. Mr Mosely for his arrogance, contoversial descisions and ignorance towards drivers feelings. Briatorie shouldn't go near an F1 car, he will just ask whoever to cheat again(as with benetton in 1994 removing the fuel safety filter and for using driver aids, then renault in 08 for asking piquet to crash) lets face it, hes a ****! i hate the guy and he is a menace to himself. how dare he put all those lives at risk so he and renault can earn a quick buck. hes a douche
