F1 » Ickx: Rosberg Schumacher's biggest enemy in F1 2010

Contrary to the popular school of thought, it could well be returning F1 legend Michael Schumacher who has difficulty in keeping up with Mercedes Grand Prix team-mate Nico Rosberg in F1 2010, argues Le Mans hero Jacky Ickx

johnson. i for one love to hear former esteemed drivers' opinions of f1 matters. i may or may not agree with what they say, but at least they have "walked the walk", rather than look it up on wiki or now, QI!!!!!

sunny, if you read this, bernie and nikki are in kitzbuhel. but what is of interest, is that the winner of the hannenkamm, is using skis with a kers system in them. i havent found out how it works, but presumably the flexing of the skis makes electricity which can then be used , somehow, to stiffen them on the straights.

Frank G sorry i wasted my time reading your post your opinions are not worth reading either so like Johnsons said roll it up and smoke it. next time when you see my name just scroll pass thru it, it will save you any frustrations. I hope you are able to take it as well as dish it out.

Hope not to raise ire for old F1 fans. Jacky Ickx is Belgian, not German. I had the pleasure of watching him win in appalling conditions against the likes of Stewart, Rindt, Fittipaldi, Revson, McLaren, Siffert, Peterson, Andretti, et al. Read about his exploits in an F2 at Nuremberg hounding the F1 cars in '68(?).
All in an age when two or three fatalities were common per season. Watching Jacky and Peterson flat out at old Woodcoat corner was an unbelievable display of courage. Since those days I've only been impressed by Gilles Villeneuve and Senna. Many fine drivers out there, though. Anyone who would disparage the likes if Ickx should take time to learn a bit of history.

A prior driver with true class does not disparage a current driver. Mario Andretti is such a driver. He stays out of this horse dung, and I can garantee he has been questioned on many F1 topics and refused comment. Ickx, Stewart,DC, etc. apparently cannot. Nico, good luck because you will need it pretty boy.

If a comment is made why not use it in its entirety rather than extrapulate what suits your (twisted)ends?
Wiki yes, QI? yup what of the others?

Not one reference in any book or any website says otherwise to: Karl Benz being the creator of the automobile. So you can moan like babies and scream like little children all you want. If you not going to put forward a referenceable source, it doesnt matter. lol

On other blogs I post, everyone is in agreement. Yet crash "experts" (term very loosely used) will disagree.

So go on clowns, what other sources did i quote along with QI(which as I remeber was also tongue in cheek) and wiki.

have a lovely evening wont you
